Proper Ramen Downtown (PRD)

I've never been to a Ramen restaurant in Toronto, and this was my first time going to one.

It's a narrow place.

If you're willing to wait a while for seating of more than 2 people (at least 1hr at dinner time), then you'll get a good window seat.

Love the bowls and spoons. 

I got the spicy garlic ramen, and yes, it was spicy.

The portions are really big, so you definitely get your money's worth here.

Miso Ramen

The atmosphere was very good.  They had a Japanese style of drum n' bass music that I've never heard before.  Even if you're not into that kind of music, it's not overpowering so that you can't have a conversation with others.  It's totally background music.  

Another cool part about this experience is you get to hear all the cooks, waiters and whoever else is working say goodbye to you when you leave, all in Japanese.  Hearing that trail of goodbye's from the front door all the way to the kitchen is pretty cool.

I know there's other Ramen restaurants in Toronto that I have yet to try, but this place is very interesting and I would recommend it to those who wants good ramen.
